Okay, so this week I'm gonna be working primarily on polishing the user interface a little bit just getting stuff in a cleaner place for launch. And so let me walk you through the changes that have been made today. So this menu and the upper left, it looks slightly different on windows is gonna be a conventional thing.
There will be, this is just the existing functionality and there's gonna be a couple new things closer to launch. Including built-in preferences, but that's not there yet. Let me focus on the main change that's happened, which is the bottom here. So an issue that happened before a lot is that key bindings the dialogue, and these buttons were overlapping.
So by dividing them into sections and using space a little bit more efficiently , the overlapping problem should be gone. Now these icons on the bottom are divided into two sections now, so this section is static, like it never changes regardless of what you have selected. Okay? And that is move, rotate, scale, and then boo cut mirror and then and duplicate.
And then the stuff over here will change based on whatever the current selection. Just like before this one has, if you hold down a couple different options you notice the triangle, which is the same as these guys. And then there is there's a new dot.dot thing, which is a very simple type ahead which has a list of all functions and key bind.
And, it's a half ass implementation for now, but if you type you can do things with it. But in any case, so you have a list of all the key bindings, which can help in the learning process. And yeah, a lot of stuff is basic here. Like you can't type. and then hit the enter key.
Or like the up and down keys don't do anything, but, okay. So what might you maybe I didn't do? Show and hide. Okay. But eventually everything will be in here. So all of the key minings
are listed. So anyway, good to. and this menu can be bound to a key binding. It's con, currently control P and it will just appear wherever your cursor is. Okay. What do we have here? This guy is hidden under a collapse, so expando thing. And the same is true of the performance stuff. Now these buttons are a bit clearer.
Anyway I'm just doing the kind of minimum that I can get done in a week and but otherwise yeah, this is the new look of plasticity. I think it looks quite a bit better. You got a lot of crazy transparency effects. I think the key bindings look a bit nicer, so yeah. Hope you enjoy.
