Make sure the OS has selected and is using the right video card. Performance is significantly worse when the main card has not been selected. This occurs frequently on Macbooks.
Plasticity is COMMERCIAL SOFTWARE. It will cost money to buy when it reaches 1.0.
The code in this repository is licensed under the LGPL. To goal is to allow users to inspect the source and (in the future) allow users to make their own modifications and/or develop plugins.
HOWEVER, it dynamically links with a commercial software software that I have licensed for $$$$$$$$. That license imposes many restrictions on how the app can be distributed and what functionality is available to end users. Please do not redistribute the binary.

Mac M1 - ending in “…darwin-arm64-version#.zip” Mac Intel - ending in “…plasticity-parasolid-darwin-x64-version#.zip”
"Darwin" is another name for MacOS and the darwin-arm64 and x64 are the m1 and intel versions, respectively. NOTE: Plasticity is not codesigned and so your mac may say something like "App Is Damaged and Can’t Be Opened” . You will need to use xattr from the terminal to unlock the program

Version numbering has changed. At the start of October the kernel was changed to Parasolid (previously C3D). The latest Parasolid version as of February 28th is v0.8.11 (v0.7.18 “Stable”).
Not all features have been ported to the new kernel.
